How will you be able to "drill down" from lists of classes, into individual class results, individual student results, and then listen to each student's oral responses and read their written responses online? We are pleased to announce that the STAMP online test of Chinese is available as of May 1st. STAMP Chinese was developed and validated by CASLS, the Center for Applied Second Language Studies at the University of Oregon, which also created the STAMP test.

STAMP will be instrumental in the National Chinese Flagship Language Initiative now being implemented in Portland (OR) Public Schools. The Chinese K-16 Flagship is part of the National Security Education Program of the U.S. Department of Defense. CASLS is overseeing the Oregon initiative to create a replicable K-16 model Chinese program that will become a pipeline for developing advanced Chinese language speakers.
