Test Credits Ordering & Testing Process Overview
1. Plan and Order Test Credits
- District determines yearly number of test credits.
- No need for exact languages except Hebrew, ASL, Latin.
- Validity Note: Credits are valid through the end of the next academic year.
2. Request a Quote and Sign Off
- Avant provides a quote.
- Invoice generated after the quote is signed or PO is received.
3. Setting Up Test Access for Testing Groups
- Set-Up Form sent to district contact.
- Form needs completion 7-10 days before testing.
- Denote testing groups, languages, dates.
- Option for group rostering (pre-roster students).
4. Start Testing with Proctoring
- Avant creates and sends test access.
- Must be proctored (in-person or remote for 13+).
5. Receive and Review Test Results
- Full results available in 10-12 business days
(up to 21 days for ASL). - Results accessible via a dashboard.
- Option to print score reports.
6. Convert Scores to Credits
- Districts award LOTE credit based on results.
- Use Avant’s score conversion sheet.
- Conversion sheet provided after an order is made.
