Avant STAMP is the statewide language proficiency assessment for students enrolled in a state-funded Bilingual Multicultural Education Program (BMEP). The assessment is administered annually to students who have not yet reached Proficiency (Level 5, Intermediate-Mid, on all domains of the assessment).

Approved Language Proficiency Assessments for BMEPs

Available STAMP Assessment Languages for BMEPs:

For state-funded BMEP students to be identified as Proficient, they must earn a minimum score of Level 5 (Intermediate-Mid) in all domains of the STAMP 4S or STAMP 4Se assessment.

NMPED is covering the cost of the annual assessment of students enrolled in a state-funded BMEP who have not yet been identified as Proficient. All other testing conducted through Avant must be paid for by the district or charter.

You will be able to assess students at any time during the state-funded testing window timeframe. The testing window for state-funded Avant STAMP assessment administration is Monday, December 1st, 2025 – Friday, May 8th, 2026. Please ensure all students in a state-funded Spanish BMEP, who have not yet scored at the proficient level, complete the Avant STAMP assessment by Friday, May 8th, 2026.

Rostering Window: Monday, September 15th – Friday, October 31, 2025

• A Dropbox folder containing the Roster spreadsheet file will be shared with each DTC
  • The Dropbox folder link will be sent by email on Monday, September 15th
  • Login to your Dropbox folder to download the Roster spreadsheet
  • Dropbox access will be shared with DTCs, contact Avant to add an additional individual for access to the folder
• Complete the Roster Spreadsheet
• Upload completed Roster Spreadsheet to the Dropbox folder
• PED & Avant will review the spreadsheets for accuracy and communicate any required corrections with the DTC
• Roster Spreadsheet to be completed and uploaded to Dropbox by October 31st, 2025
• Adding new students after the Rostering window has closed:
  • Only add students who have NOT completed the assessment in their
    previous district
  • Submit additional Roster spreadsheet file(s) to the Dropbox folder (do
    not add them to the original spreadsheet file)
  • Final date to submit additional students is April 10th, 2026

批准对北马里亚纳群岛特别预算局的摊款：
