Level 1: | Iniciante-Baixo

Neste nível, consigo criar palavras individuais que não têm um significado extenso.

Posso compartilhar algum vocabulário simples, que lida com o prompt/tarefa/situação, mas tendo a ter dificuldade em conectar essas palavras para criar significado.

Level 2: | Iniciante-Intermediário

Neste nível, estou começando a desenvolver a habilidade de criar significado conectando gramaticalmente as palavras.

Especificamente, eu posso conectar alguns sujeitos e verbos básicos ou verbos e objetos, mas posso ser inconsistente ao fazer isso.

Muitas vezes, meu vocabulário é limitado a tópicos de nível Novato que eu vivencio no meu dia-a-dia ou que aprendi recentemente.

Level 3: | Iniciante-Avançado

Neste nível, posso criar frases simples com controle gramatical muito básico e precisão.

Frequentemente há erros em minhas respostas, enquanto ao mesmo tempo eu posso ter um bom controle com algumas estruturas e funções muito simples do idioma que acabei de aprender ou estudar.

Nos níveis de Novato, erros são esperados enquanto tento criar frases simples. Geralmente, as frases que consigo criar são muito básicas e simples, com poucos, se houver, detalhes adicionais.

Level 4: | Intermediário-Baixo

Neste nível, eu posso criar frases simples com alguns detalhes adicionais; tais frases ajudam a criar VARIEDADE.

No nível Intermediário Baixo, frases simples são aprimoradas pelo uso de frases prepositivas, auxílio no uso de verbos, bem como alguns advérbios e uma variedade de adjetivos.

Geralmente, crio frases independentes (ideias) que podem ser movidas sem afetar o significado geral da resposta. Ainda existem vários erros na minha resposta, mas tenho um controle bastante bom de frases mais básicas. Estou me sentindo mais confiante em usar diferentes estruturas e expandir o vocabulário e assumir mais riscos com minhas respostas.

Level 5: | Intermediário-Médio

Neste nível, agora posso criar linguagem suficiente para mostrar agrupamentos de ideias.

Os meus pensamentos estão vagamente conectados e não podem ser movidos sem afetar o significado.

Eu também posso criar algumas frases com complexidade e sou capaz de usar algumas palavras de transição. Também consigo usar mais do que apenas o tempo verbal presente simples, mas costumo cometer erros quando tento usar outros tempos verbais.

O uso do meu vocabulário está se expandindo e eu sou capaz de usar mais do que o usual, alta frequência ou vocabulário mais comum. Sinto que sou capaz de criar uma nova linguagem por conta própria e comunicar minhas necessidades diárias sem muita dificuldade.

I have had many good things happen to me in my life. I have so many good memories. One that I feel is the best is playing golf. I played golf since I was 5 years old. My father and mother like to play golf since they were young. They taught me many things about golf. When I was in highschool for the first time, I played on the school team. We were very good. My coach taught me more things. I learned many thing that is important to me now. I learned to not get mad. Sometimes I would hit a bad ball and it would make me mad. I would play bad the rest of the round. My couch was a good teacher.

Level 6: | Intermediário-Alto

Neste nível, tenho um bom controle do idioma e me sinto bastante confiante sobre uma gama crescente de tópicos.

Ainda existem alguns erros ocasionais na minha produção de linguagem, mas isso não atrapalha minha capacidade de comunicar o que preciso compartilhar.

Posso usar circunlóquios para explicar ou descrever coisas para as quais não conheço vocabulário específico ou estruturas. Consigo entender e usar diferentes tempos verbais e estou apenas começando a desenvolver a habilidade de alternar a maioria dos tempos verbais com precisão. Posso usar palavras de transição e conceitos com alguma facilidade. Minha linguagem tem um fluxo mais natural, mas ainda posso ter algumas pausas ou hesitações não naturais.

One of the best experiences that I have had so far in my life was my trip to France for the student exchange. It has been memorable to see students whose way of life was different from Americans. During the trip, we visited multiple historical sites and museums and restaurants and city shops. The most amazing part was being with a exchange student at their house and living the life they would. Food is a big part of the trip to France, but there was so much more as well. I still think of the fact that our home country is often seen as the one and only. However, the trip to a European country where everything is different has proved people wrong. I know this experience will be one that I will remember forever.

Level 7: | Avançado-Baixo

Neste nível, minha resposta contém uma série de complexidades com um grau de precisão mais elevado.

Tal linguagem me permite abordar cada aspecto do prompt de maneira mais completa e com mais profundidade de significado.

Sou capaz de usar vocabulário avançado ou termos avançados, conjugações etc. com confiança. Sinto que posso criar um fluxo natural usando o máximo de detalhes e linguagem descritiva possível para criar uma imagem clara. Erros com estruturas mais complexas ainda podem ocorrer. Minha habilidade de alternar entre tempos verbais começa a aumentar em precisão.

I think one of the worst, and best things to happen to me was my concussion. The date was January 4th, 2016. It was the first day back to school from winter break, and I didn't want to get out of bed. I quietly went downstairs and made myself some peanut butter toast in the dark, I felt too lazy to cross the room and turn on the light. I needed to get some schoolwork resting on my bed so I could put it in my bookbag. I tiptoed up the stairs and entered my room. I grabbed my school supplies and with my arms completely full I went down the stairs. I crossed the dark hallway, thinking about what assignments I needed to finish. I still hadn't turned on the light and that was the worst mistake I made that morning. I tripped over a broomstick that was laying on the floor. I couldn't use my arms to catch myself because they were full of schoolwork. I fell flat on my forehead. Felt the floor press into my head and aching pain. I don't remember much of what happened after that, but I eventually arrived at the doctor's office. This concussion lead to great depression and greif for me. I couldn't use technology. It hurt to move. I had almost constant headaches. I slept so much, almost 22 hours a day. But I eventually recovered, I pushed through. However, it permanantly destroyed some of my mental speed so I'm now slower at math and language than I used to be. Even when I got over the concussion, I still had a heavy, heavy depression to deal with. But I'm glad I went through all of that. Thinking back, it's something horrible, absolutely devistating that happened to me. But I can look back with a light, knowing that I'm strong enough to lay in bed feeling grim for so long , and still stand up again.

Level 8: | Avançado-Intermediário

Eu sou capaz de criar uma resposta que não apenas aborda cada aspecto do prompt, mas se aprofunda em cada ponto com clareza e linguagem concisa.

Sou capaz de incorporar uma série de estruturas mais complexas, bem como vocabulário avançado e frases avançadas com um grau de precisão maior na maior parte da resposta.

A linguagem que eu crio tem um fluxo natural devido à maneira como incorporo uma variedade de padrões e complexidades na minha resposta. Minha resposta mostra minha habilidade de criar uma linguagem que possui sofisticação de habilidades linguísticas e densidade sintática. Minha habilidade de alternar corretamente os tempos verbais é evidente, se solicitado no prompt.

One of my best experiences in life happened when I was 18 years old. It was when I first began working as a cleaning lady at a conference center for a summer job. The summer after my freshman year of college, I was looking for a job, and unsure if I would find one. My brother told me about a previous place where he had worked, and told me that they were hiring for the summer. I decided to apply and hope for the best. I was soon in contact with the employers and soon had a job lined up. I however did not get the position I initially had hoped for. Instead, I received the job of a cleaning lady. I was going to be a housekeeper at a conference center for the summer. The summer was filled with many taxing events. I often had to deal with problems I had never before thought about as a hotel guest before. I made beds, I cleaned bathrooms, I washed windows, I vacuumed, and I did countless other odd jobs. It was during this time, though, that I realized just how capable I was. It was no uncommon occurrence to work six days a week instead of five, or to have an extra shift at the beginning or end of the day. I was constantly working, and yet I enjoyed myself. I took a lot of pride in my work, at least as much as a person who cleans can. I would push myself to not only clean better but to clean faster. Soon I was cleaning things in half the time it took others to clean. Regardless of this though, I was still surprised when I received employee of the month at only my second month at the job. This made me realize that my work was appreciated and, as I said before, that I was capable of much more than I had ever thought. So even though this was not the most glamorous experience, it has been my most rewarding. I learned the value of hard work and realized just how much I can do. Altogether, this has been an experience that has opened up a world of possibilities to me and for that reason, it is one of my best experiences.
